Kanika R. is the Editor-in-Chief of The Grizzly. She's a senior at BASIS Independent Brooklyn, and this is her fourth year reporting for The Grizzly.

Stella W. is a sophomore and writer for the Grizzly. She debunks mental health stereotypes every month!

Zahra is a novel writer the Grizzly, though is well-prepared to discuss pop culture or literary poems! She spends her free time running track for our school or excessively studying physics- her favorite subject.

Eli M. has been writing for the Grizzly since early 2025. He specifically covers economics and reports for our sports section!

Fionn C. has been writing for the Grizzly for the past year. He reports on several wordly sports stories, alongside Eli M.

Reese C. is a novel writer, who discusses topics ranging from politics to modern film. She is currently a freshman at Basis Independent Brooklyn.

Ishan P. is a contributing writer, who enjoys writing about language and culture, particularly in South Asia! He is currently a sophomore at BASIS Independent Brooklyn.

Crosby is a junior at BASIS Independent Brooklyn who is a writer for The Grizzly. She enjoys sports writing and is the captain of our women's soccer team when not writing for The Grizzly.

Petra G. is a writer for The Grizzly who joined the editorial team in her sophomore year. Now a junior, Petra focuses on sports and travel writing.
