As the second week of highly anticipated football games commenced, many teams were trying to figure out how their new players would fit into certain roles on the field.
These games were hand picked by our editorial team as the most important and interesting.
Bills vs. Dolphins (31-10)
The Bills showcased their defensive and offensive skill against the Dolphins in week 2 with a 31-10 win. Although the Bills have lost most of their main receiving players, they have shown out strong on both sides of the ball with few turnovers.
Jets v. Titans (24-17)
The Jets claimed their first victory over the Titans. The Jets played a solid offensive game with three touchdowns and received good help from Aaron Rogers. What really won the game, however, was their defensive game. The Titans had a solid game until the Jets forced two turnovers to capture victory.
Chiefs vs Bengals (26-25)
This week’s most anticipated game was the Chiefs vs. the Bengals. Over the past few years this rivalry has grown, and many expected the Bengals to come out on top because the Chiefs have lost a few players. Many of the young players on the Chiefs showed out but the Chiefs barely took the win with a game-winning field goal.
Saints vs Cowboys (44-19)
The Saints surprisingly annihilated the Cowboys 44 – 19. Many thought this game would be close, but with RB Kamara’s 4 touchdown performance everyone knew the game was over.
Vikings vs 49ers (23-17)
The Vikings and 49ers had a very defensive game with each team having three fumbles and an interception. The backup QB Sam Darnald had a very mild performance for the Vikings but WR Justin Jefferson helped with a 97 yard Touchdown. In the end, the Vikings beat the odds and came out on top.
Cardinals vs Rams (41-10)
The Cardinals showed out against the Rams with a 41-10 victory. The Cardinals had 4 defensive stops in the first half, while only giving up a field goal. This game showed the connection between Rookie WR Marvin Harrison Jr and QB Kyler Murray.
